One of my short poems

If only a dream was a human form

Eternal happiness would be our home

Never would we shed a tear

Never would death feel so near

A smile should show an inner glow

Instead it fakes a happy show

It’s true the ultimate pain is love

But a beating heart is a hand in a glove
