New Small Business Venture
Hello!
As always, I'm in dire need of money so I've continued selling the accessories I sold on eBay last year. However, after loads of trouble with eBay I've made the switch to eBid.
I've got the last of the handbags I brought listed and the (oh so amazing) Michael Kors keyrings:
I know how I could help my money situation: get a job! I have tried, sent out a few applications but they haven't landed me the job sadly. There's always people with more experience. Oh well, no point getting depressed. I widened my search but I am very picky. I apply to one in every ten jobs I look at. Most of the time I can't picture myself doing the job and still being happy. I value money A LOT but I value my happiness even more.
So what alternatives to a full time 9-5 job are there!? Whether we like working or not, we need money to survive:
For a little extra income you could try a few online ventures. No transport costs or buckets of time wasted:
These are all things I have considered or tried. If there is anything else you can think of please do leave a comment.

So what alternatives to a full time 9-5 job are there!? Whether we like working or not, we need money to survive:
- Start a business
- Become a trader
- Become a freelancer (could be available for full or part time work)
- You could become famous and earn enough to retire a year later. It's easy. NOT! Imagine earning thousands for performing somewhere or playing a lead role. That's the life.
- Marry a rich person lol
For a little extra income you could try a few online ventures. No transport costs or buckets of time wasted:
- Sell unwanted things on eBay/eBid/etsy. eBay is the most popular but that doesn't mean it's the best
- Sell photographs etc
- Become an affiliate
- Publish an e-book on Amazon. Non fiction sells way better than fiction apparently. I have published a fiction novel, it's not making me rich but at least it has been selling
- Online tutoring
- Bet matching
These are all things I have considered or tried. If there is anything else you can think of please do leave a comment.

DeleteThere are definitely a lot more options for business nowadays, what with the ever-expanding online market. However, each of these should be considered an investment, since it takes time to set up and perfect, though hopefully not too much. I would advise that, more than selling your accessories or what not, you should combine the online market mechanisms with starting a business and becoming an entrepreneur. You can do this by starting an Etsy shop for your current items, and maybe expanding into something else later on.
