The Power Of Self-Publishing A Novel On Amazon

Hello!

What I love about writing a novel is anyone can self publish. Anytime, anywhere. No longer will the tears burn from the rejection of a publisher. I've actually never tried to get a book published. Good thing though, Amazon take enough of a commission from each sale.

The market for fiction is extremely tough, non fiction is easier to find a niche or specific topic very few people have covered. That means you'll need an expertise in a specific topic though. I don't think I know enough about a subject to write a full length non-fiction book. I was going to write one about surviving as a student in London, but I figured that was best kept to my blog.

The stuff I write is first and foremost for me. If it sells Yay, if not at least I tried. I have to be proud of what I've written. I like to write (mostly personal things) but I had the courage to publish a novel of mine. It's out there ready to be scrutinized and critiqued or adored and appreciated. That's enough for me.

I am running a FREE PROMOTION this weekend only on my book.

"Four best friends, four lives, one common theme: Love.

Falling for a teacher isn’t the wisest choice as Krystal discovers, especially as he is her sister’s boyfriend. Britney’s unhappy until she becomes a WAG but has to face her past once again. Fashionista Rebecca hates the game but could a player tempt her to play? And good girl Whitney is determined to stay away from dating but then she meets Ben.
See the plot unravel in different points of view as the trust is lost and new experiences are gained."

I'm working on a new book that I want to publish at the end of this year. It is going to be part of my first series!

My sister has self-published a novel as well.

"Ayona is a wannabe journalist with big dreams. She knows what she wants, how to get it and nothing becomes clearer then when she meets Omari. He intrigues her in a way she couldn't imagine, so Ayona sets out to make him hers! The only problem is Omari is her boyfriend's brother...
Born into the same family, Omari and Rashaun share similarities and tastes, but their appearances are worlds apart! Omari's a tough tattooed street guy music producer and therefore a ladies magnet, whereas Rashaun is a smart but casually dressed restaurant manager. However, for the first time they share an attraction to the same woman and ultimately leads to Omari committing the ultimate betrayal...
Warning: contains explicit content and strong language"
