New Year, New Excitement, Same Me

Hello,

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted a blog post, it's been a crazy start of the year! I've moved flat, again, joint a modelling agency, turned 21, started a new term at university and have done a few cool things through StarNow. Have I been busy? Yeah, a little. To make matters worse, I've only just got the internet again.

So, I've moved for the 3rd time. This time it's a two bed flat with only my oldest sister. It was hard saying goodbye to my other sister and niece (who used to live with us) but it was time for us to go our separate ways. It's nice yet scary seeing how quickly life evolves. We all see each other often, so there's no love lost.

The flat is awesome! Small kitchen, but I don't like cooking so that's fine by me. Newly decorated, no gas (so I pay fewer bills) and a little balcony. AND I've got the bigger room! I'm so used to sharing or having a small space that I feel like my room is a palace!. I've just had the broadband setup and everything's working out just fine. Except the living room is inhabitable for now, long story.

I'm sure you don't care about me starting a new term at uni so I'm just gonna skip that bit. I'm back on StarNow and it's been really cool so far. One of the things I did was a scene for a magic show and I've been applying to loads of different jobs. A hundred rejections of course but when you get a yes it feels so good. The entertainment industry is extremely subjective, so it's unlikely it will ever be a full time thing for me.

Leading on from StarNow, I joined a modelling agency. MJ Model Management now represents Shanice Harrison. I haven't been on it for long so I haven't done a job through them yet, but hopefully it won't be long. Click the image below to check out my profile:

On to the best part of my year so far, my 21st birthday!! I spent it with most of the people who mean the most to me: my sisters, my niece, my mum and my best friends. It was an awesome day of eating, laughing and singing. I then went on a spa break with one of my best friends. It was a great three day celebration!
